I purchased this Kaftan to take with me when I travel. It weighs next to nothing. It is sheer and it is a light weight polyester. It smelled bad, like chemicals, when I first took it out of the bag but I hung it out for awhile and the smell went away. However, it concerns me in terms of where and how it is made. FYI, I am 5'2" and it scrapes the tops of my feet. I would not recommend it for anyone shorter unless you want it to drag.This piece just made me fell in love with myself all over again, I felt beautiful, don’t need a lot of jewelryIt speaks for itself, love it. You can't see through the fabric, and it's so soft and comfortable. The gold embroidery is beautiful too. The length is great. Doesn't hit the floor and it's not short either.This dress also makes you look very attractive.This cover up or as I like to refer to garments like this ‘muu-muu’s’, is not just gorgeous but also the most comfortable item to wear. It could be just a bit longer like in the photo but it is soft and flowing. For reference; I’m 5’7” and it comes just to the top of my ankles. The item I received had a broken button and it was kind of disappointing that it comes without any extra buttons.
